If we could have coffee...
I would tell you I'm a wife of 20 years, mom of four incredible (and often messy) kids, and passionate about Jesus and His Word. Atlanta is home, but I’m forever just a country girl stuck in a city. Like you, I’ve had my share of highs and lows. I’m far from perfect, but I’m happy to share and teach what I know and what I’m learning. Highlights of my journey (so far!) include serving on staff with the incredible team at Passion Conferences + Passion City Church for nearly two decades in various leadership roles including launching and building The Grove women’s ministry. These days I have the joy of working alongside the illumiNations Bible translation movement, teaching a local weekly bible study called KINDRED, and freelance working on new endeavors such as teaching, writing, and creating memorable experiences for my family and others. This season is a holy-wild and mid-life awakening. I’m learning and stretching faith muscles I didn’t know existed. Welcome to the journey.
Why Shiloh?
In Scripture, Shiloh was a place of purpose, celebration, and promise for God’s people. It’s where the tabernacle stood for more than 300 years and where people met with God. Heaven touching earth. It’s also my favorite place in the Holy Land. The word Shiloh means abundant peace. Peace that is found not in an ancient place long gone, but in a Person who forever reigns: Jesus. As a writer, Bible teacher, and curator of Holy Land experiences, my desire is to help people grow in their love of Jesus and his Word. So, whether it’s introducing friends to a new place, writing a well-crafted sentence, or teaching, I am drawn to excellence and beauty. The kind of excellence and beauty that points to and honors the Prince of Peace, the True Shiloh, in everything I do.
In the wild…
Some places + friends I’ve served alongside: The Grove, Passion City Church, Passion Conferences, She Reads Truth, Mill City Church, Auburn Community Church, Athens Church, Live Original and more.
